Both are essential, can't be read by scripts on the page, and aren't used for tracking or ads.
Browser storage
The site saves preferences in your browser's local storage: theme, chart layouts, watchlist, indicator settings, when you last saw the Signals guide, and similar. This stays on your device; with an account, it's also synced to your account.
Advertising cookies
When ads are shown, they come from Google AdSense, which may set cookies to show and measure ads (and, with your consent, to personalise them). Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's own consent message; you can change your choice there. Without consent, Google shows non-personalised ads. Fonts
Fonts load from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address to deliver them but doesn't set cookies for this.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you won't be able to stay logged in.
