Signals: the rules and how to use them

Updated 2026-10-29

The Signals page lists coins in an uptrend whose momentum has just turned up. It's a shortlist of charts worth a look, not a call to buy. Every signal is logged on the public track record, wins and losses alike.

The rules

A coin is listed when all of these are true:

RuleWhat it means
Daily uptrendThe daily Smoothed Heiken Ashi candle is green and higher than 5 days ago.
1H uptrendPrice is above the 1-hour EMA 200.
RSI 1HThe 1-hour RSI (14) is 54.01 or more.
RSI 30mThe 30-minute RSI (14) is 55.01 or more. It's strongest when it is above the 1H RSI ("leading").
Fresh green turnThe 1-hour Smoothed Heiken Ashi (10, 10) has just turned from red to green, and RSI has held its level since early in that green run.
Not used upOnce the 1H RSI reaches 70 the move has played out: the coin leaves the list until RSI drops back below 50.

Stablecoins and coins pegged near $1 are skipped.

How often coins are checked

  • Every 3 days: every coin that trades on a connected exchange (about 2,100) gets its daily trend checked.
  • Every hour: every coin in a daily uptrend gets the full check.
  • Every 5 minutes: coins close to a signal, and coins on the list, are checked again, so a signal appears as it forms.

How to use a signal

The method the signals were built for:

  1. Spot trades only: no leverage, no futures.
  2. Open the coin on the 1H chart and add Smoothed Heiken Ashi and RSI Divergence Hunter, with a line at 55 on the RSI.
  3. Check for yourself: RSI has risen above 55 on 1H, the 30-minute RSI is higher than the 1H RSI, and the Smoothed Heiken Ashi has just turned green from red (or is small and about to turn green). If the green run started a while ago, the move has happened: skip it.
  4. Take profit at +1%, and don't hold for more than 3%.

Each signal has a Why this coin? button with every rule and its live value, a Size calculator, and a one-click Paper trade.
