Trade journal and edge finder
Updated 2026-10-29
The journal is for your real trades (or any trade you want to learn from). Closed paper trades are included automatically, and you can switch that off.
Logging a trade
Pick the coin, when you bought and at what price, and (once closed) when you sold and at what price. Add the fee per side and a note if you like. The result is worked out after fees.
When you save, the server measures the market at the moment you bought, from exchange candles that had closed by then:
- RSI on 1H and 30m, and whether the 30-minute RSI was leading;
- the 1H Smoothed Heiken Ashi: red, just turned green (0–3 candles) or green for a while;
- daily trend and whether price was above the 1H EMA 200;
- volume compared with the previous 20 hours;
- time of day (UTC) and weekday or weekend.
The edge finder
With at least 10 closed trades, the edge finder compares groups of your trades with all of them. A group is reported when it has at least 5 trades and its win rate differs from your overall win rate by 15 points or more. For example: "1H Smoothed Heiken Ashi: just turned green → 78% won (9 trades, +24 points vs all your trades)".
Patterns in a small sample can be luck: treat them as questions to look into, not rules.
